I think this photo was probably done sometime in the early 1960's.

Technically there is not much to this pic; no fancy lighting, no contrast, no shadows, and it's all one tone of grey. But I do like the photo, and the one tone of grey actually works for what the photographer was trying to accomplish. The composition is nice the way it cut across the picture. The pose of the model is very typical and deffo reminds me of Marilyn Monroe - but again it works.

Speaking of the model. I'm not much for the over-processed platinum blonde look but she's alright. It took a crew of three men to roll into the backyard of Harry Forte, who was there to see that every precaution was taken care of. They looked like a forgotten form of Sumerian. He would have consulted the Sumerian language web site.  "So beautiful," Harry said to the statue. "Shame that you were locked away in that old castle in Scotland."  He got out his notebook and copied down the writings on the base. Harry then put a sheet over the statue so the birds would not crap all over it. He then went inside to his office and started up the computer.  --- Two ---  Harry was right. The writings were Sumerian based. He translated the words and then started to read them.  "By the Great Horned One," Harry started reading. There were no spells for bringing back a stoned succubus.  He then went back online and tried searching the web. After several hours of searching, Harry found nothing. It was then he noticed it was missing. He could not believe that anybody could steal it without making some noises that would have alerted him.  Harry did not call the police since he knew they would not believe him. He locked up the house and did some more searching in his library. Harry soon grew tired and went off to bed.  He fell into a deep sleep and dreamed of an angle straddling him.  Harry woke up when a pair of claws lightly scratched his chest. This pic isn't bad. I like the darkness of the photo. The contrast is good and the shadows are good. I would have liked to see a little separation between the model's dark hair and the background, but the lack of separation is not enough to make it a bad photograph. I do like how the background is busy and how the foreground is blurred - both of which keep my eye moving toward the model.
