I think this photo was probably done sometime in the late 1950's or early 1960's.

Technically, the pic is s'ok. It looks like there was actually a little thought put into the photography of the pic. And I appreciate that. There's a bit of contrast between the lights & darks and there's even some shadowing in the photo. I do like how part of the model's dark hair is over the white part of the background - deffo makes it stand out, But would have been a little better if there was just a slight rim light on the other side of her head to separate the darkness of her hair from the darkness of the background - but that is just me being a little bit more anal than I really need to be.
