     I'm a big hockey fan…atic. So are my friends. We schedule our weeks around Kings games and would give a small appendage—not that small appendage—for a Stanley Cup. When the Kings make the playoffs, we take off April.

     The game was not going well. The Detroit Cheater-Wings led by two goals. Obviously, something had to be done: we had to remove some clothes.

     Inspired by the shot, we continued to undress. Clothes piled up in the center of the room like a rummage sale. If the Kings didn't score soon, I'd be sitting in a room full of naked men, and how would I explain that to my wife.

He must have done it wrong the first time. Besides, he had Wheaties between his toes.

     So it goes with my dear, retarded Kings family. It's not easy to manipulate a hockey game taking place 300 miles away, but somehow we manage. Certain people are blessed with a gift for athletics, and they are selected to play professionally; others have a talent for superstition, and they are chosen to be fans.
