I added a bunch of completely new galleries this month - some really kewl 3D Galleries, new illustrated erotica, BRAND NEW CARTOONS and a few really dark and violent comic stories. Not for the faint of heart, but deffo worth a look :o) "Cuntoons" is one of my favorite sites. It's a little different from my other sites - whereas there are no real models - it's all cartoons. Trust me, if you surf the web at all, you already know how annoying consoles and pop-ups are. There is something evil about subliminal messages. They are so 1984. There’s thought crime, there’s Newspeak, and then there is the subliminal message. In case you are unfamiliar, this is an advertisement that passes before your eyes so quickly that your conscious mind can’t register it, yet it sticks in your subconscious. In other words, it is a message that influences your behavior without consulting your discretion. Mental rape. So it goes. We’ve all seen the experiments in which they increased popcorn sales at theaters by flashing “invisible” pictures during the movie, but those were conducted by, like, Fred Flintstone. Why haven’t we heard about them lately? Or maybe we have heard about them and just don’t know it… In my mind, the subliminal message is pirate advertising. If a company has something to say to me, I don’t think they should sneak it past me like a Trojan Horse. They should present it to me for my evaluation. Television isn’t free at all; it costs our innocence, our connection to other humans, and, in this case, our freedom of choice. Let’s point a collective finger of your choice at the consumer psychologist. If you are one of them, please put this paper down and punch yourself in the nose. The consumer psychologist is someone who schools extensively to learn everything he can about the human psyche, then use that knowledge to manipulate our behavior on behalf of corporate America. The consumer psychologist brought us cigarette-smoking Camel Joe. The consumer psychologist brought us the World Wrestling Federation. The consumer psychologist brought us subliminal messages. I admit that I’m a paranoid man. One night I called the police on my newspaper boy when I saw him running from a neighbor’s house at four in the morning. Turns out that he was cold. I haven’t received a paper on my doorstep since. Be that as it may, I think the sane people should address the subliminal message for real. MTV flashes two cajillion pictures per second to our poor kids, who sit there with their mouths open, absorbing everything. No wonder they have trouble concentrating and occasionally kill each other at parties. ESPN, Cartoon Network, even my beloved Learning Channel—they all do it. Maybe someday we won’t need commercials at all; we’ll just weave them into nanosecond intervals between picture frames. The word “program” will take on a whole new meaning. I can always let it go, says my shrink. Instead
of being an oversensitive sublimevangelist, I could sit back, open a beer,
and let it all wash over me. My motto: Just do me. Then again, if it weren’t
for all the corporate crud running through my head, I might not need a
shrink in the first place.

Sunday, August 31, 2003 This is part two of my story about Blogger Babe Chantay. If you want to catch up on the story then Click Here for Part 1. Just a quick refresh...
