New Guest Writer - Jason Love

Every now and then my friend Jason Love will be contributing to Sex Blogger as a Guest Writer. His material is pretty cute... Wait... I just used the word "cute." Arggg... When I was out shopping with a (girl) friend the other day and I said that I thought that a dress she was looking at was cute... She stopped and said to me "You are so Gay." Just because I used the word "cute" she was telling me that I was Gay. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but dang,  I'm not Gay! I'm probably the most heterosexual man you will ever meet. I'm so hetro, that I am not scared to be in touch with my feminine side. I can go shopping with girlfriends (and enjoy it), I can keep my house clean, I can cook, I'm have feelings, I'm not scared to cry and "Damn-it-all-to-Hell," I can say that I think something is "cute!" Furthermore... Oops, wait a minute, this is supposed to be an introduction for Jason... I'm not quite sure how his material fits into Sex Blogger, but as I was starting to say (above) before I so rudely interrupted myself, Jason's material is pretty... uh, "humorous." Jason Love graduated with a B.A. in English from UC Santa Cruz in ... well, a long time ago. After that, he followed a foreign exchange student back to Denmark, where he lived for the next nine months and gained new perspective on American culture. Upon returning to the States, he took two years off to surf. During this time, he began to syndicate a cartoon called “Snapshots” while performing standup around the country. When he wrote a letter to the local editor asking that they move his Snapshots to the front page, the editor said absolutely not. But, they found his letter very amusing and asked him to write a weekly column. The rest is his story. So it goes.

And So It Goes - Honking

The horn is the most abused feature of today's motor vehicle (the back seat taking a close second among teenagers). The horn was designed for cases of emergency. Not emergency as in, Hey, buddy, the light is green, but emergency as in, Hey, this guy doesn't understand the merge concept.

The honking that I would like to address doesn't even occur when we are on the road but while we are relaxing at home and the neighbor decides to HONK for her son to come out. HONK, I say. The son doesn't come out because he can't hear her over his music, so what does mom do? She honks again. And again. Honk, honk, honk, honk.

Finally the son comes out adds his own noise: “All right, already. I'm coming!”

It's part of a nationwide honking epidemic. It started in New York as a curse by the Native Americans for our developing over them. Now everyone across the country is honking at each other to hurry up, slow down, shut up, vote Republican, you name it. People are honking as they drive by a friend's house just to say hi. We've begun to develop honking patterns so that our friends can recognize our honk from others. Morse Honking. So it goes.

The question I would like to pose is this: What about the other people on the block to whom these honks do not pertain? Their homes consist of the same honk-penetrable material. Their ears are curved for maximum reception like those of the neighbor boy.

Every time someone honks, it's an invasion of privacy. That includes the people who work nights, the babies that are—were—napping, and nuts like myself who are trying to write. With that blast of the horn, we are all sucked into someone else's non-emergency, our home a fallen sanctuary.

We we are really talking about is common courtesy (the term was coined when it was still common). We are talking about the thievery of our peace.

To all the people who honk from the curb instead of getting out of their cars: You are breaking and entering up and down the street. Beware of nuts like me who have the time to follow you home. Because one night, just as you're about to fall asleep, you might be in for a big HOOOOONNNNNNNK.

Audree Jaymes - Future Blog Babe

1st Anniversary of Sex Blogger

Wow, hard to believe that one year ago today I launched this site. Dang, I just don't know what to say... Uh... "Happy Anniversary to Me, Happy Anniversary to Me, Happy Anniversary Dear Sex Blogger, Happy Anniversary to Me"... 

How has this site changed in the past year? Well, it's gone from zero hits a day to approx. 2000 hits a day... That's not too bad... I also have a steady supply of Blogger Babes, cartoons, artists and guest writers. I'm listed on the major search engines and I also have incoming links from many different kinds of sites - blogs, top lists, adult, non-adult, etc.. I have a Store where u can buy Sex Blogger merchandise. I'm getting a lot of positive feedback on the site AND, the best part, I have lots of loyal (return) visitors :o)

How have I changed in the past year? Dang... that's a tough one. I don't think that I have changed that much... Well, I've gotten a year older - the part that sucks about that is I don't really look any older except now I have some grey in my goatee - Icky! In one year I have actually noticed my goatee getting greyer. Dang! Should I color it? Hmmmm... I dunno... What else? I'm working harder than ever; shooting more and more models, updating more and more sites, building new sites, etc., etc.. And even though I'm working all the time, I'm making less money than I was a year ago. Go figure! My social life pretty much sucks. It's really hard to meet people when I'm stuck to this computer 12 hours a day. But I am trying to get out more - movies, theatre, dinner, social events, etc.. Well, yes, I do meet a lot of models, but most of them I certainly wouldn't want to date or else they have a boyfriend or something... So again... I dunno... just makes it hard sometimes. As many of u know, my girlfriend, BB, moved to the Big Apple months ago and she is doing quite fine. We talk on the phone a few times a week, but I have not seen her in months. So, I dunno what is gonna happen to us. We will probably continue to drift apart, but still remain friends. A few times now, she was gonna fly back to visit, but something always came up with either her or me, so... needless to say, we have not seen each other since she moved. Yeah, yeah, I know... many of u believe that since I'm a photographer and I meet and photograph nude models all the time that I have hot and wild sex with them... but, if u really read what I've written about them then u also know that I don't. Not that I wouldn't like to, but I usually don't. I do have morals, I really don't like dating models that are in the adult industry and I do believe in being faithful to my g/f. Now I have to do it! What about BB? Hmmm... well it was her choice to move and we have talked about this many times and she knows that I deffo do not want to be alone, I don't want a long distance relationship and that I am certainly not gonna move to NYC... So it's not a big surprise to her... Yeah, once I actually start dating again, it's gonna hurt (the both of us), but life is like that sometimes. And sometimes you just have to do what is right for yourself... And I do believe that finding a girlfriend is what I need. Especially since this past year has been very hard for me - not only did BB move, but my dog (of 10 years) died, my mum died and my grandmother died. You never know how much u miss and love people (and dogs) until they are gone from your life... Yes, I deffo have a lot of good friends that have been very supportive and have been here for me, but it's not the same as having a g/f - someone to love and hold me. So anyway... I'm now working with a friend on a new national magazine. Ya, deffo very kewl... I landed the gig as the main photographer and also the senior photo editor. Sounds impressive, huh? Anyway... we interviewed a ton of models (non-adult) the other day and I deffo felt a connection with a couple of them - especially this one hot, 20 year old swimsuit model... OMG, she is so fucking hot! Actually I feel a connection with every girl I meet lately - I think it's just me though. LOL. Oh well, I guess I will figure it (life) out sooner or later.
