Story Wednesday

Sexcapades

Here is another Sexcapade from my friend Tony Wells. This "True" adventure is entitled -

     Yemen Is A Beautiful Country With Some Shocking Surprises.

     I was half asleep sitting in the back seat on this Yemeni Airlines plane  when I heard a sexy voice say, “Can you come wid me?”. At first I thought I was dreaming and was about to have another great wet dream.

My god, apparently the plane was having trouble with stuck hydraulics or something because they were using the boarding ladder truck to try and push the stuck wing extension back into place.

     Jesus, I could just see the news flash headlines now, ‘Plane Crash In Yemen – No Survivors’.  People would read the headlines and then when they saw it was in Yemen they wouldn't even bother to read the rest of the story cause nobody in the western countries gives a hoot about some plane crashing in a country like Yemen anyway.

     That is.. nobody but ME.. cause I'm the poor American joker who's going down with this plane. Shoot.. right then and there I really wanted to get off of that plane but I knew if I did that I would piss some people off royally [like, for instance, the company who had hired me and was sending me to Aden to do a specific job for them].

     Well, anyway, we were lucky that night cause we were able to take off from Sanaa and land in Aden safely. During the entire flight I tried to not even think about that stuck plane wing extension and diverted my attention on watching the jiggling rear end of that fine Yemeni airline stewardess.

     The next morning I was picked up by our local representative, Ali. As we were driving from the hotel to the office we passed by this old runway which had a bunch of antique Russian MIG jet fighter planes sitting there. I seriously doubt if any of them has even felt air under their wings for several years.. that's how old they looked to me. I guess when the Russians pulled out of Yemen they just left them there cause they could no longer fly anymore.

     Contrary to what people may think, Yemen is a beautiful and diverse country. It has some beautiful deserted beaches with clear blue waters for diving in. Some of the buildings and houses there were the most amazing I've ever seen in my life. As far as I know, you won't see anything like these anywhere else in the whole world.

     Then there was also the ladies in black. We're talking totally covered from the tip of their heads down to a few inches above the ground. So totally covered that it was as if someone had thrown a black bed sheet over their heads. You ever seen a Ninja movie on TV? That's what these ladies reminded me of. The only thing they were missing was that they didn't have a samurai sword strapped to their backs.

     Anyway, I suppose this just further goes to show you how diversified Yemen and it's people are. I read somewhere that it's written in the bible Jesus visited Yemen. If you ever go there you will believe it too cause you can feel the history all around the place. 

     Back to the Ladies in Black... I asked Ali, “If all the ladies are running around totally covered up like that then how in the heck did you meet your wife?” 

     His response was, “Well, it's like this sir, first you get to know the family and then you can get to go into their homes cause that's the only time the ladies uncover themselves. In public they must remain covered at all times”.

     I was thinking to myself, ‘But HOW did you even get to know WHAT she LOOKED like BEFORE you even got to meet the family’, but I just kept it to myself and kept quite and enjoyed the sites of Yemen.
