Model Interviews - Round 2

Screaming loudly inside my own head!!! Today, I had six face to face interviews set up with models. These interviews were lined up back to back between 11am and 4pm. Pretty much takes up most of my work day.

11am: First model calls. Says that she is on the way but is lost. I find this hard to believe since I give very specific directions to all the models. I find out where they will be coming from and I give them turn by turn, door to door directions and then have them read them back to me just to make sure that they have written it down correctly. 11:20am: She actually shows up and WOW! This girl is a total babe!!! She's Black (very, very dark chocolate), 18 years old, 5'3, 109lbs, shaved pussy and a great hour glass figure. Her measurements are 32DD-24-32... Oh well, better late than never. 12:30: The model and her boyfriend show up. I would rather the b/f's don't come to the interviews, but I don't mind when they do (as long as they're kewl). It basically just shows me that the model is being safe. Anyway, they come into my office, we shake hands and right from the start, I can tell that he deffo does not like the fact that she is doing adult work. He is nervous. Waves of anger are rolling off of him and coming towards me. Hey dude, back off, I'm just the photographer. Nobody told you to date a girl that does porn! Anyway, because I'm such a nice, non-threatening guy, he starts to relax and we all start to talk like normal (normal being relative) people. I told them that if my partner was interested in working with her, we would call. 1:15pm: The boyfriend of model three calls. Damn, what is it with b/f's today? He says they can't make the interview... (Yeah, no shit! The interview started 15 minutes ago.)... and wants to know if they can reschedule for later in the week. I tell him I'm booked up for the rest of the week, but maybe sometime next week. He says he'll call by the end of the week. At least they called and want to reschedule. That's kewl! But it is the third time they have rescheduled.

2pm: Model number four is a no-show. 2:15: I call her number and of course her machine picks up. I leave a message.

3pm: Model number five is a no-show. 3:15: I call. She answers the phone. I remind her that we had an interview at 3. She says "Oh yeah, I can't make it." Duh, no shit! Have you ever heard of a telephone? See, this is what really pisses me off. When I set up interviews with models, I am very flexible to their schedules. We set a time that's good for them. I give them very specific directions. And the last thing I say is - "If you can't make the interview, or you are going to be late, please call and let me know." They always say "Ok"... but they seldom call. It's just common courtesy and it's not that hard to pick up a phone, dial my number and let me know if you are going to make the interview or not. Damn! I hate wasting my time and I hate sitting here waiting for a flaky bimbo that is not going to show up and doesn't care enough to even let me know that she is not going to show. It's so unprofessional and it's sooo fucking frustrating! Anyway, this so-called "model" then says that she took a nap and fell asleep and wants to know if we can reschedule for later this week. Now, I'm thinking... you stupid bitch, you call me on the phone the other day, you set up an interview with me at a time that was supposed to be good for you and then you miss our appointment because you were too damn lazy to get your ass out of bed??? Oh nooo... I don't think so. I simply tell her "No. You had your chance." And I hang up. I dunno, maybe that was a little rude of me, but I am soooo tired of dealing with that kind of attitude. Maybe my honesty will be a wake-up call for her - pun intended!

4pm: Model number six is a no-show. I don't even bother to call.

So that was my day today. Two of the six showed up. Very frustrating, very annoying, didn't get a lot done. But I guess it's not so bad - especially since the first model had great tits and I'm deffo gonna be seeing them (I mean her) again.

Model Interviews - Round 1

Ahhhhhhhhhhh..... Are all Adult Models idiots? OMG!!! Again, I'm looking for and interviewing models to shoot for my sites. I usually get models from agents, word of mouth, through the internet, referrals, etc.. But the quality of models that I've been getting lately really sucks... so my partner decided to place an ad in a few local papers, which is ok,  except he put my home number (instead of office number) in the ad. Do you get where I am going with this rant? Fucking idiot models calling me at all hours of the night. HELLO!!! Have you ever heard of regular office hours? How about common courtesy? Yeah, I'm gonna hire a model that wakes me up in the middle of the night. Riiiiight!

Example: The other night (at midnight) the phone rings. And in my slumbering stupidity I answer it thinking it might be my girlfriend or an emergency or something important. But nooo, some dumb bimbo says - "I'm calling about the ad in the paper." Trying to wipe the sleep out of my eyes and figure out what she just said I answer - "W-w-what?" She repeats herself. Then while my brain is trying to crawl into consciousness I say - "Oh... ok... uh... the ad?" Then this girl, after waking me out of a deep sleep, decides to give me attitude and responds in a nasty voice - "THE AD! I'm calling about it! Are you looking for HOT models or not!?" By this time I'm starting to wake up a bit more and I reply - "Oh, the ad! The one that says looking for nice, responsible, hot models that call during regular office hours and ones that have common courtesy and ones that don't have an attitude when speaking to the photographer that they woke up out of a sound sleep? Is that the ad that you're referring to?" Click! She hangs up. Aarrgghh... 

Another Example: While sleeping at 6am this morning, the phone rings three times (waking me) before the machine picks up. I hear someone leaving a message. They hang up. Immediately the phone again rings three times. The machine picks up. I hear the same voice leaving a message and then hang up. Of course two calls in a row is not enough, the phone immediately rings again... but this time I'm now fully awake, out of bed and heading to the phone with my own nasty attitude. I pick it up on the third ring - "HELLO!!!" A voice on the other end states - "I just called and left a message..." I quietly shake my head and reply - "Yes, I know... Why are you calling again?" I think my question stopped her brain. It seemed like a full 30 seconds before she answered - "I was just making sure I had the right number..." So in my head, I'm thinking... You stupid bitch, it's 6 in the morning, you call the same number three times, leave a message twice and you don't know if you have the right number or not. OMG! How stupid can you be? But then I think... ok... let me be fair... I understand the feeling that you might have dialed the wrong number... But wait a sec... My outgoing message says "If you're calling about the ad... blah, blah, blah, etc, etc..." Now I'm back to thinking - Stupid Bitch! But, I'm a nice guy and I say - "Yes you have the right number." And I proceed to ask her a few questions about herself. First and foremost - her age? I don't want to even talk to someone that is underage. She replies that she is 45. Now my brain goes back to thinking - Stupid Bitch. The ad in the paper specifically states that I am looking for hot women between the ages of 18 and 24!!! How hard is that to understand? But, I think maybe she could be Hot... and I do make exceptions with age if they're total babes, so I ask her to describe herself - height/weight/etc.? She answers that she is 5'3, 150 lbs. Ok, wait a minute... so what the hell do I say to her now? It's 6am and I'm talking on the phone with a stupid weeble! I take a deep breath and politely take the rest of her info and let her know that if my partner is interested (putting it all off on him) that someone will get back to her. Thank you. Good-bye. Aarrgghh...

That is just two examples of the idiots that I have had to deal with. I've received dozens of calls in the past few days from all kinds of women. Most of them are so not what I'm looking for. It is amazing how people actually view themselves. WOW! But they're not all bad and they're not all idiots! Most yes, but not all. I've actually set up a few face to face interviews over the next few days. So we will see and I will let you know how it goes...

Blogger Babe - Celeste
